I just want to take a minute and post about Cole McMurphy. I think somewhere, the fact that Cole hit .482 and stole 52 bases has been sadly overlooked by people that should know better. I've coached a lot of baseball and as I watch the College World Series I cant help but think about Cole. I have no doubt that he could play at that level. As I listen to commentators talk about players with 10 or 12 stolen bases, I cant help but think that Cole would be putting on a clinic. I know its D1 college baseball, but Cole is much better than advertised. OU could help themselves next year by finding this great kid and making him a pinch runner. I know my love for this kid may get in the way of any objectivity, but if you've ever played this game you know what it means to hit .482 for an entire season and steal 52 bases. #unbelievableyear
